Application like Visio for Mac OS X

03.18.07 | Comment?

Mac OS X has an outstanding application for almost any kind of the functionality or activity, you can need. With one strong exception for me. I am not that big fan of Microsoft and its software, as they bunch a lot of functionalities and features, but their user interface is suffering from undefined computer-human-computer interactivity.

Flowchart

But, one of their applications I really love to use. It is Visio for flowcharting and many other things, you can need. The application is really easy to use and its possibilities are huge. I was looking for its “mirror” in Mac OS X world, but I had no luck to find one.

There is an application for flowchart drawing - Omnigraffle. But honestly, this app is too simple to fullfil my needs. I love to draw detailed flowcharts and I love Visio is making the most of the needed work for me. I do not have to take care about aligning the objects - they align themselves on their own. And I can put a lot of stuff on one simple piece of the paper.

Do you have any idea about the flowchart drawing application for Mac OS X?
