Apple TV

Apple TV still ruling the news

04.02.07 | Comment?

You can find Apple TV everywhere you look. Every single Apple Blog is full of information about Apple TV. But – it looks no one is watching movies and video clips on the gadget. Everyone tries to make a new space shuttle from Apple TV as it seem it is hidden somewhere in the box.

Honestly, it is really interesting to know, I can run Safari with no difficulties on Apple TV. But what about the quality of the movies and video clips. How does that look on the screen, when you turn your Apple TV on. Is the picture really of “near DVD quality” or is it “VHS is also good”?

Apple TV again

As I am not a technical guy – completely non-technical one over here – having look at the back of my LCD TV, I have found, there are a lot of ports over there, so maybe… it could be connected to “my future” Apple TV, but I have to read the manual as the number of different abbreviations on the front side is really amazing (all of them expressing just one single thing – “you can watch TV news on this TV”).

So, I am still waiting for a deep look at Apple TV describing it very simple, with pictures (like you need this connector on your TV set to be sure Apple TV will work). As the most confusing moment for me would be the connection of Apple TV to the TV set with a simple message on the screen – “You need to buy a new LCD TV.” My TV set is new and I am really not ready to spend money for a new one.

So, I will wait for several weeks and then I will definitely find the “Apple TV Guide for a complete Dumb.” That is me, I am the member of the target group.
