Do you speak with your Mac?

No, it is not a strange question. Your Mac is really ready to speak with you. At least you can ask it, what time is it? And your Mac will answer to you with the correct time. Sure, just in case, your Apple understands your question.
First, when I saw my Mac able to understand to me, I was really amazed. I allowed my Mac to speak. Honestly, I am so lazy guy, that after several months, I would like to turn this feature off – but being lazy, I always just say – I will turn it off later, not now.
Speech recognition is a great thing, but honestly – it is still a long way ahead the tech geeks to make the speech recognition really perfect. When the computers will understand English, other languages should come /really looking forward to seeing my Mac understand my native Czech as our speech and grammar is almost impossible to describe in simple process maps/.
Right now, I am a bit bored by that voice “The application XYZ needs your attention.†Every time any application needs to communicate with me. And there is no chance for me to simply say “yes or noâ€.
But, leaving my Apple to read emails is a fun from time to time. Quite sadly, I have to be alone at home.
Yes I do! I use iListen and it works quite well. I tell it what to do and it does it. Not quite as good as the Star Trek computer but better than anything I have seen!!
