Do you need to work with PDF files? Use Skim

04.14.07 | Comment?

Mac OS X is known for its excellent work with PDF files, which are handled naturally in the Preview application and each application in Mac OS X can produce PDF print outs. Sure, just when the application has something to print out.

But, when you need to work with PDF files and you need to make comments and annotations to the document in PDF, the work is not that comfortable. In the case, you need to work with longer PDF document, I fully recommend Skim application.

I am using this small application for quite a long time and I have to say, it is much more comfortable for reading than Preview. And also, when I need to make a note to the document or I need to point out important or interesting parts of the PDF document, I can do so.

I can just really recommend Skim as the application for PDF documents reading and annotating.
