When Apple makes the announcement, it usually makes a storm in media. Wow, that great marketing function of Apple – it is called viral marketing. Make an announcement and do not pay a penny for its broadcast to the world.
The comments are really excellent – the articles are usually very pragmatic, stating the advantages for the experienced community to wait for the new version of the operating system and then – the comments from the Apple community, which is a bit upset (to use the correct word).
Do you really think, it changes your life so much to wait another several months for Mac OS X Leopard – when Tiger is really sufficient version of Mac OS X? Are you not able to finish your taks? Or what are you exactly waiting for?
The better development effort invested in Mac OS X Leopard, the better result we will get. Development of the operating system needs its time and usually – some delay can happen. Ask at Microsoft. They should really know, how to make the delay in the development cycle. We can be pretty happy, that Apple did not find out, the complete rewrite of the Mac OS X is needed, which means – the basis of the system is really of a high quality.
Do not make a torture from waiting. Leopard will come really soon and you will enjoy new look and feel of the application. The system will be again the star – at least one step in front of Microsoft Vista.
