Rip your favorite radio station

iTunes offer the option to listen to your favorite music radio station, but it does not offer the possibility to rip and download the music from it to be listened in your iPod.
But as usually, the Internet and the world of application developers offers a solution. I tried several possible applications, but StreamRipperX is the best options for me.
StreamRipperX is very easy to use. It offers several options to rip the music. You can take the URL from iTunes or you can copy it from the web browser. StreamRipperX supports drag’n'drop technology, so making the application to download the correct radio station is really very easy.

There are not many options to select, but I would strongly recommend to set the folder to download songs into and to ask StreamRipperX to add mp3 tags to songs automatically. It will save you a lot of time when you need to sort the music. You can also set the identification of the application to the servers and it fully imitates iTunes that your connection does not get refused by the radio station.
StreamRipperX is distributed as the open source application and you can use it for free. And from now, you can have your iPod full of your favorite radio station.
PS: Be careful as ripping music from radio station can be illegal. I will try to find out more.
