SVG support in Safari
Do you like to browse the Internet with Safari and would you like to have the SVG support in the browser as a standard?
After researching the network and choosing the correct solution - there is a cure for your Safari. Or - you have to exchange the standard Safari with the version from The WebKit Open Source Project.
Honestly, from their website and blog - I do not know, what relationship they have with Apple, but their SVG implementation in Safari just works. And it works nice.
You can have a lot of questions about SVG and what it is - it is a Scalable Vector Graphics file format, which can be used by your browser. And it brings nice pictures and excellent graphs your website.
Luckily, I believe, with Mac OS X Leopard, SVG support will be a standard part of the system as the format is spreading the Internet pretty quickly and Firefox includes the support for SVG as well.
PS: You can also download an Adobe SVG Viewer for Mac OS X, but the latest version is from year 2001, which does not make too much confidence in me. But you can try it. On your own risk.
