I am not just the member of the Apple community. I love to make photos as well and I try to develop my skills in that area as I find taking photos really relaxing activity for me. In case, you are looking for an excellent opportunity to relax, I would strongly recommend making photos. It is not that hard to learn the basics of taking snapshots and you will really enjoy the results.
Other interesting output is the need to learn the basics of GIMP or Photoshop or any other graphics program to make adjustments in photos as it is really essential need. But for the basic corrections and effects – iPhoto is an excellent tool as well. Not all the photos are errorless, but you have a chance to repair or correct them. Or, the photo, which looks ordinary and uninteresting, can be completely changed and adjusted by playing with filters and colors. It takes hours and hours to produce a result, but you will be very happy and lucky to hear “Wow, this one looks really excellent.â€
As a pretty happy user of Sony SteadyShot DSC-H5 camera, I like to take it with me to take snapshots of things around me, which are interesting. I am not a very good photographer. I like about 1 of 100 photos I take. But as my friend says, 1% success rate in taking photos is really an excellent result. The investment to the making photos is not huge. You need about 300 dollars for the camera, which is able to zoom manually and offers manual styles of operation. It is not about buying the best and most expensive camera you can find. It is about finding camera, which suits you and your needs. I am very lucky with my Sony for this moment. When you are not sure about the right camera for you, you can always use Flickr and their statistical information for selecting the best model.
There are also people, who are able to make excellent photos just with their mobile phones. Honestly, I am not the one of them. I am not able to make an excellent result with the mobile phone. But sometimes – I am lucky with my camera.
When you like photos of buildings and nature, you can enjoy some of the photos and all of them provided for free for your personal use. I do think they are so excellent, someone would offer money for the rights to use my photos.
Because the web hosting company provides me with a lot more disk space I will ever need, I decided not to pay for specialized services, but I will utilize the current domain and disk space and I installed the open sources Gallery2. The application offers everything I really need for my work. It also can install many plug-ins and add-ons just by a single click, which I really like. I was looking for several options, but Gallery2 is really my final recommendation and my web hosting company offers it to be installed with Fantastico, which means no additional worries for me. It was working at the first click. I just had to organize my galleries and albums. The gallery also recognizes the languages of the users and the user interface is available in their native language, when the language is present in the system.
